My name is Kiran Shengale. I am a writer, illustrator, and cartoonist based in Mumbai, India. I graduated with a BFA in Illustration.

After completing my formal education, I entered the field of advertising, where I have worked as an Art Director and illustrator for almost a decade. I gained valuable experience collaborating with major advertising agencies like McCann and JWT, contributing to brands such as Coca-Cola, Pepsi, and Kotak Bank.

While working in the advertising industry, I began writing TV commercials. However, aspiring to become a professional writer, I pursued a B.A. with a major in English Literature. I also studied Psychology and Marathi Literature for a comprehensive education.

Currently, I am working on an ongoing semi-autobiographical webcomic series titled KiranShengaleComics, where I explore aspects of Indian bachelor life, struggles, cultural norms, high expectations, and more.
